SWAP NET CANCELED?

Sad to say...but yes it is true.
Hi Everyone,
I’ll try to keep this short yet simple.
Last week Chris AB7BS reached out to me and expressed his concerns over the lack of participation on the Swap Net over the last few months. He felt that the net had a good run and had pretty much ran its course.
It was time to finally pull the plug and hang the mic up.
I just want to say that I had a great time over the last 13 years running the swap net, learning about different types of ham radio gear, antennas, technical information and such, but most of all I enjoyed the folks who checked in and helped keep things rolling and somewhat entertaining. Some folks whom I even met for the first time at the ham fair in Rickreal and at other events.
I’ve already been asked if there is any chance that the Swap Net may return at some point later on.
The answer is...I really don’t know. Maybe. If it does, maybe a different day of the week and/or time so as to not conflict quite so much with other nets occurring on the same day and time. I believe this contributed to the lack of participation problem.
But in the meantime, I’ll repeat this part of my net post-amble:
I want to thank the repeater owners for allowing us to use their repeaters for the Swap Net. Also thanks to those who help maintain the repeater system and especially thanks to ALL who checked in.

This is Steve W7RMG and I’m clear.
