Voting System Now Operational - Partially!
#1
Sunday, April 28th Chris (K7TVL) broke trail to Marys Peak in the truck and installed the new voting system on the 145.130 repeater. He got some of the remote receivers operational with the new voting system, but not all of them. Here's a run-down of what's what right now:
  • Voting system in place and operational. Connected to Marys Peak transmitter.
  • 145.130- PL 100 - Marys Peak - Transmitter UP, receiver DOWN. Will be brought back online when Chris can install a new tone decoder that is compatible with the voting system.
  • 145.130- PL 100 - Prairie Peak - Remote receiver UP and linked to the voting system on MP. NOTE: This PL has changed from 110.9 to 100.
  • 145.130- PL 100 - Coburg Ridge - Remote receiver UP and linked to the voting system on MP. This is a new receiver and is not directly related to K7UND's 70cm Coburg Ridge unit.

King, Kenyon (Signaltree), Buck, K7UND's Coburg Ridge, and KGW currently remain unchanged.

More remote receive stations to follow! I believe that on the "Future Plans" list are Cottage Grove, Salem, and Newport.

If anyone has any more information on this subject, please list it here. We'd love to hear feedback on how the new system is working!

...That's what I get for making a post when I should have been sleeping.

Thanks for the friendly jab, Jeff.
