New W7PRA Flckr Group
#1
I created a flickr group for the W7PRA. Anyone can join and add their photos. Please join this group and add a few photos so that all of us can share in the fun. There were lots of cameras at field day and I personally have only seen a few photos.

http://www.flickr.com/groups/w7pra/

For those fo you who are new to flickr:

Flickr is a photo storage/sharing site that has the best control over photos and allows the most storage options. On my personal pro account I have:

Unlimited photo uploads (50MB per photo)
Unlimited video uploads (90 seconds max, 500MB per video)
The ability to show HD Video
Unlimited storage
Unlimited bandwidth
Archiving of high-resolution original images
The ability to replace a photo
Post any of your photos or videos in up to 60 group pools
View count and referrer statistics
Limitation of maximum image size available to others
Ad-free browsing and sharing

Basically it allows me to keep my photo collection on the cloud and free up my personal storage while allowing me to share photos and actually download the originals at a late date. There are other photo sites, however none of them will allow you to do what flickr does.

Again please join the group and post a few photos.

Can someone sticky this thread?

BAM! Consider it stuck.

I'll consider the Flickr thing. Thanks for the info.

I've been adding pictures to this group, so take a look. I'm not done yet - I just don't have a lot of time, so I do them in batches.

A specific picture was requested by someone - here it is. Enjoy!

I have the Flickr app on my phone, but am unable to find the pictures!

Any ideas?

The app on your phone may only link to your account and to your photos. The W7PRA group is its own group, with the actual hosting of the photos done through personal accounts.

Can we get some photos of the meetings posted up here? I would do it, however I have a schedule conflict.

Thanks for the pictures, Noah! I wish you'd enable picture downloading - it adds a good 15 seconds to the time it takes me to download them anyway and I'd appreciate not having to take the extra four clicks to get them. Tongue

Seriously though, thanks for coming! I'm glad you found it and I really REALLY appreciate you going out to take a look and secure it before hand. You're a good guy and I enjoy your sense of humor and willingness to help.
