Local Clubs and Meeting Info
#1
Hello all,

I'm trying to get together a list of "local" (Portland to Eugene area primarily, but anywhere in the PRA "network" coverage area) radio clubs, their meeting times, and meeting locations. Why? Primarily to help coordinate meeting times for the Peak Radio Association.

Currently, the Peak Radio Association has their meeting on the second Monday of the month at 7:00 PM at Papa's Pizza in Corvallis. This is the same time as the LCSARO group in Eugene. That forces people interested in both groups to make a decision about which meeting to attend.

Here's what I want to do: reply to this thread with the name of the club in the title, and the date, time, and location (And any other information you have) in the body. I'll start by adding a few I already know of.

I know you said this thread is for "other" clubs/groups times and dates but I assume at some point you would like suggestions of when ours should be. I didn't see any other thread so if you want to make one and move my post to it, have at 'er!

Until then, I'll just throw my 2 cents in here for now. Personally, I think the Monday thing is great! If we need to change to first, third or fourth, that's fine. It's not going to help the next 6 time off requests that I put in throughout the rest of the year that have already been submitted AND approved but oh well.Wink

But, they're talking about(among other things that were supposed to already happen  ) about making my days off always the same and Monday could be one of those days since our meeting is(was) always on a Monday. This is supposed to be happening very soon(supposedly! Just like I was supposed to be made full time a month ago and didn't! They're also supposed to be fixing that. LOL, sheesh! Rolleyes).

So if it stayed on Monday, that would be great. But if the "day" is going to change, I gotta know pretty soon or my days off will be set and I may not be able to come to any more meetings for a few months. Of course it all has to go through the board and be voted on but that's my 2 cents.
Cheers!
