DMR Dual Band HT Preference??
#1
So, all else being equal, which DMR Dual Band HT is "best?"

Anytone AT-D878UV
or
BTech DMRr-6x2

I would love to be able to afford something from the Big Three, but until I win the lottery, I am stuck.
Pros? Cons? Any words of wisdom for a two month old Extra is appreciated!

I received an Anytone AT-D878UV last week. I love it. My main purpose is to use it with my openSPOT2. But it should work fine with repeaters as well. Don’t expect to program it from the front panel. And using the programming software is not as straight forward as something like RT-Systems. But it’s a decent radio. If you want DMR, I believe it is among the best.

Also, YouTube can be a good resource on ham radio topics. Many reviews there. One channel... “Ham Radio 2.0” is run by a guy named Jason. I believe DMR is his favorite mode. I know he has a good review on this.

Update... try this... https://youtu.be/SSIClNd0D6c
